Chartered Financial Analyst, popularly known as CFA, is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute that measures the competence and integrity of financial analysts. Candidates are required to pass three levels (I, II, III) of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management and security analysis.
The Level 1 mainly focuses on the tools and inputs, in addition to an introduction to asset valuation, portfolio management techniques and financial statement analysis.
